Urgent: Explosion hits central Istanbul, casualties reported

An explosion rocked Istanbul's bustling Istiklal Street on Saturday, inflicting an unknown number of casualties.

The cause of the explosion is not known yet, and the police have cordoned off the entire street and all shops were closed.

Bomb disposal units are on the scene looking for another bomb, Turkish media said. Endit
