Urgent: U.S. stocks keep rising on Fed statement

U.S. stocks extended gains on Friday, as the Federal Reserve's decision to keep interest rates unchanged continued to drive the stock market.

The Dow rose 0.69 percent, and the S&P 500 added 0.44 percent, while the Nasdaq gained 0.43 percent. Endit
