The first Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) leaders' meeting will be held next week in China's southern city of Sanya, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Thursday.

At the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, leaders from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam will attend the meeting on March 23, according to spokesman Lu Kang.

The leaders of the six countries will exchange views on promoting the LMC mechanism, strengthening all-round cooperation at the subregional level and advancing regional integration, Lu said. Endi
