Number of suspects in long custody without trial notably decreases

The number of suspects, placed in custody for more than three years without being charged, reduced from 4,459 in 2013 to six by 2015, said a work report of the Supreme People's Procuratorate on Sunday.

The report will be delivered by Procurator-General Cao Jianming at a plenary meeting of the ongoing session of the National People's Congress. It was distributed to the press ahead of the meeting. Endi
