Indian stocks close higher

Indian stocks benchmark S&P BSE Sensex pared some of its gains in morning trade on Friday as the European Central Bank extended stimulus but warned that it was running out of room to cut interest rates.

The 30-share index closed at 24,717.99, 94.65 points or 0.38 percent up from previous close of 24,623.34, with a turnover of 565.07 crore rupees (about 84.2 million U.S. dollars). Endit
