Spanish stock market rises 0.07 pct, closes at 8,766 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.07 percent on Thursday to close at 8,766.90 points, up from the 8,761.10 points of Wednesday, in a day where the European Central Bank (ECB) cut interest rates.

On Thursday session, Banco Popular led rises climbing 4.64 percent, followed by Banco Sabadell, Caixabank, Bankia, Bankinter and BBVA that rose 4.43 percent, 2.94 percent, 2.71 percent, 1.36 percent and 1.35 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Repsol led falls losing 3.5 percent followed by Acerinox, ACS, IAG, Indra A and Amadeus that lost 2.99 percent, 2.83 percent, 2.61 percent, 1.81 percent and 1.56 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 131.30 points, slightly below the 133.9 points of Wednesday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.6 percent. Endit
