Indian stocks end down on profit booking

Indian stocks ended lower on Thursday bucking the largely positive cues from other Asian markets as investors resorted to profit booking post a five-day rally.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 24,623.34, 170.62 points or 0.69 percent down from previous close of 24,793.96, with a turnover of 699.36 crore rupees (about 104.4 million U.S. dollars). Endit
