China auto sales down 0.9 pct in February

Auto sales in China, the world's biggest auto market, fell 0.9 percent year on year to 1.58 million units in February, data from an industry association showed Thursday.

Sales of passenger cars decreased 1.5 percent year on year to 1.38 million units last month, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) said in a statement on its website.

Auto sales rose 4.4 percent during the first two months of the year, according to the statement. Endi
