Top Chinese swimmers Sun, Ning to compete at national event for Olympics qualification

Top Chinese swimmers will compete in national championships scheduled next month for the Rio Olympics places in Foshan, south China's Guangdong province.

Olympic champion Sun Yang and world champions Ning Zetao and Liu Zige will participate in the national race, according to the organizing committee.

Another two Olympic champions Ye Shiwen and Jiao Liuyang are not included in the national event.

Around 600 Chinese swimmers will compete in the tournament, which is slated from April 3 to 10. Endit
