Dollar opens in lower 113 yen range in early Tokyo trade

The U.S. dollar was trading in the lower 113 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday morning, largely in line with levels seen overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was changing hands between 113.27-28 yen compared with 113.25-35 yen in New York and 112.47-48 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0986-1.0987 dollars and 124.44-124.45 yen against 1.0994-1.1004 dollars and 124.61-71 yen in New York and 1.0984-0986 dollars and 123.54-58 yen in late trade on Wednesday afternoon. Endit
