Indian stocks close flat in volatile trade

Indian stocks managed to close marginally higher and extend the winning streak to the fifth day on Tuesday after swinging between gains and losses throughout the day.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 24,659.23, 12.75 points or 0.05 percent up from previous close of 24,646.48, with a turnover of 2,536.48 crore rupees (about 375.8 million U.S. dollars). Endit
