China firmly opposes U.S. sanction against ZTE

China is strongly dissatisfied with and firmly opposed to U.S. sanction against China's telecommunication equipment maker ZTE Corp, the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said Tuesday in a statement.

"The U.S. move will severely impair normal commercial activities of the Chinese firms. China will continue to engage with the U.S. side on the issue," according to the statement.

Earlier on Monday, China's Foreign Ministry urged United States to revoke its decision to avoid damage to trade cooperation and bilateral relations. Endi
