Mainz defender Giulio Donati has been suspended for three matches, the Bundesliga club announced in an official statement on Monday.

The disciplinary committee of the German Soccer Association (DFB) suspended Giulio Donati, who has been sent off for a violent conduct to Sandro Wagner in Sunday's goalless draw with Darmstadt, for three games.
