British FTSE 100 decreases 0.27 pct on Monday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday decreased by 0.27 percent, or 17.03 points, to 6,182.40 points.

Share price of Antofagasta increased by 7.63 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Old Mutual, Anglo American, Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton increased by 6.90 percent, 6.10 percent, 5.02 percent and 3.46 percent respectively.

Randgold Resources led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of Worldpay Group (2.73 percent), RSA Insurance Group (2.03 percent), Merlin Entertainments (1.78 percent) and Aberdeen Asset Management (1.68 percent). Endit
