Unknown gunmen launched an armed attack against a care home for the elderly in Yemen's southern port city of Aden on Friday, killing about 17 people including four Indian nurses, a security official told Xinhua.

"A group of well-armed gunmen stormed the elderly care home in Sheikh Othman district of Aden province, and opened heavy fire randomly after killing the building's guards," the local security official said on condition of anonymity. (Yemen-Attack)

ANKARA -- Turkish security forces detained 4 suspected members of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) with 11 children were detained on Friday in Kilis province, said the governor of Kilis.

The 4 adults, who were suspected ISIL members, were detained by patrolling security forces at Elbeyli town in Kilis province while trying to cross from Syria to Turkey illegally. There were also 11 children with them. (Turkey-ISIL)

JAKARTA -- Dozens of people have suffered from wounds as rescuers have evacuated at least 48 people and are still searching for the rest after a ferry capsized in Indonesia's Bali strait on Friday, rescuers said.

PARIS -- Top diplomats in France, Germany and Britain on Friday warned that Syrian peace talks would fail unless humanitarian aid was granted and a ceasefire respected.8 "We wish for rapid resumption of negotiations in Geneva. HARARE -- At least thirty people were killed while 36 others were injured in a road accident involving two buses along the Harare-Bulawayo highway, state media reported Friday.
