Foreign drug mules arrested at Beijing airport

Xinhua, March 3, 2016 Adjust font size:

Beijing Customs said on Thursday that two foreign drug mules were arrested at Beijing airport and about two kilograms of heroin were seized.

The two suspects were on the same flight and they were stopped on December 31, 2015 when crossing through customs.

The amount of drugs the two female suspects were attempting to carry into China was the biggest among drug mules cases handled by Beijing Customs last year.

Beijing Customs said this year it will continue to crack down on drug trafficking and step up efforts to curb illegal substances from entering. Endit
