Indian stocks open higher

Indian stocks opened higher on Thursday as improved oil and commodity prices and pick-up in U.S. economic data moved the sentiment into the positive territory.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 24,386.67, 143.69 points or 0.59 percent up from previous close of 24,242.98. Endit
