Czech nominates roster for ice hockey World Cup

Czech ice hockey national team coach Josef Jandac nominated on Wednesday a 16-members roster for the World Cup that will be played in Toronto, Canada in September.
The roster includes 14 players from the American NHL and two from the Russian KHL. The 44-year-old legend player Jaromir Jagr is not in the roster, but the team's management are trying to persuade him playing the World Cup for the Czech Republic.
Jandac will present the complete roster of 23 players by June 1.
Squad:
Goalkeepers: Petr Mrazek, Michal Neuvirth, Ondrej Pavelec.
Defenders: Radko Gudas, Michal Kempny, Roman Polak, Andrej Sustr.
Forwards: David Krejci, David Pastrnak, Michael Frolik, Martin Hanzal, Tomas Hertl, Ondrej Palat, Tomas Plekanec, Vladimir Sobotka, Jakub Voracek. Endit
