Iceland sees services trade surplus increase in 2015

Iceland saw its balance of services trade increase to a surplus of 190.7 billion Icelandic krona (1.5 billion U.S. dollars) in 2015, up from 134.7 Icelandic krona in 2014, Statistics Iceland said Tuesday.

According to preliminary figures, Iceland's export of services in 2015 was about 562.5 billion Icelandic krona and the import of services was 371.8 billion Icelandic krona.

With a trade surplus of 141.2 billion Icelandic krona, transport was the top earner of trade surplus in the country's service sector, according to Statistics Iceland. (1 dollar=130 Icelandic krona) Enditem
