3 killed, another injured in Jamaica police, gunmen shootout

Three people were killed in two separate shoot-outs between police and gunmen over the weekend in Jamaica, it is reported Monday.

Two gunmen were wounded Sunday in an exchange of fire with police and one died of gunshot wounds in hospital.

The shoot-out happened when the two men were trying to escape with the money they had stolen from a wholesale store in Montego Bay, Jamaica's second-largest city, the Jamaica Observer daily reported.

On Saturday, police shot and killed two armed men in a clash in Jamaica's troublesome community of Franker.

There was constant shootings in Franker in the lead-up to Thursday's parliamentary elections. Six people was shot dead in the community in February. Endi
