Kaka believes he could still play for Brazil

Xinhua, March 1, 2016 Adjust font size:

Brazil midfielder Kaka has said he still has a lot to offer his national side, according to sports website UOL.

The 33-year-old, who has represented his country 91 times, believes that he could be an important part of coach Dunga's squad.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the former AC Milan and Real Madrid midfielder said that he would need a frank discussion with the national boss to see whether he has a role with the five-time world champions.

So far, Kaka has been called up for all four of Brazil's qualifiers ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, to be staged in Russia.

However, he has only been involved in one match, playing the last 15 minutes of the 301 win over Venezuela back in October.

Kaka was in the Brazil squad for the 2002, 2006 and 2010 editions of the World Cup, but missed out in 2014, when the tournament was held in Brazil. Endit
