Argentine, Chinese officials discuss cooperation

Xinhua, February 26, 2016 Adjust font size:

The Argentine ambassador-designate to China and the Chinese ambassador in Buenos Aires discussed future bilateral collaboration on Thursday.

"The creation of the comprehensive strategic partnership in 2014 marked a milestone for bilateral development," said Yang Wanming, the Chinese ambassador.

Political ties between the two countries have grown stronger and they have maintained good cooperation at international forums such as the United Nations and the Group of 20 for the interests of emerging countries, he said.

Argentina's ambassador-designate to China, Diego Guelar, said that Argentina and China can build "a brotherhood without limits."

He hailed China's growing international influence. "China has gone out to the world, buying and partnering with companies. Our region must also integrate with China. We have much to do together," he said. Endi
