Cavaliers beat Hornets 114-103

LeBron James and Kyrie Irving scored 23 points apiece as the Cavaliers beat the Charlotte Hornets 114-103 on Wednesday night.

Cleveland scored 40 point in the second quarter to dominate the second half, expanding the lead to 24 points in the fourth quarter.

James added seven rebounds and seven assists. Channing Frye, acquired in a trade last week, scored 15 points for the Cavs. J.R. Smith finished with 16.

Kemba Walker added 20 points for Charlotte. Frank Kaminsky scored 16 points and Al Jefferson added 12 for the Hornets, who had won four straight on the road but now fall to eighth place in the East. Enditem
