Indian stocks closed lower on Thursday, pulled down by a 6 percent crash in the Chinese stock market.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 22,976.00, 112.93 points or 0.49 percent down from previous close of 23,088.93, with a turnover of 531.58 crore rupees (about 78.2 million U.S. dollars). Endit
