Albania, BiH to enhance cooperation over European integration

Xinhua, February 24, 2016 Adjust font size:

Albania supported the integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and its European integration, said visiting Albanian President Bujar Nishani on Wednesday.

Nishani noted the two countries have no open issues and had similar aspirations towards European integration.

The two countries should expand economic cooperation and trade, said Nishani at a press conference with Chairman of BiH Presidency Dragan Covic.

Covic, meanwhile, said the relations between Albania and BiH developed smoothly, and the two countries should further bilateral economic and cultural cooperation. After application for the EU, BiH would aim for NATO membership, he added.

Earlier in the day, Nishani held meetings with members of BiH Presidency as well as senior officials from Parliament. Enditem
