Brazil's Finance Minister Nelson Barbosa will participate in the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting that is slated for Feb. 26-27 in Shanghai, according to official sources.

He will present to Chinese ministers and private entrepreneurs his country's fiscal and social security reforms, Brazil's finance ministry said on Tuesday.

"This year, the G20 group is focused on adopting structural reforms to help economic growth in member countries," according to a press release by the Ministry of Finance.

During the G20 meeting, the attendees will focus on the financing of projects, especially those dealing with climate change and fighting terrorism. A document will be published after the meeting with directives guiding the G20 Summit, which is to be held in southeast China's Hangzhou city on Sept. 4 and 5.

Barbosa, who is in China ahead of the G20 meeting beginning on Friday, will meet with Chinese Finance Minister, Lou Jiwei, to discuss infrastructure investments.

On Wednesday, Barbosa is scheduled to talk with representatives from China Railway Construction Corporation, China Railway Engineering Corporation, as well as the China Development Bank. Endi
