China beaten 3-1 by Uzbekistan in International Youth Football Tournament

China U19 national team lost 3-1 to Uzbekistan in the second round of the 2016 China-ASEAN International Youth Football Tournament Tuesday night.

Uzbekistan took control of the game from kick-off and China conceded three goals in the first 30 minutes. In the 39th minute, Gao Huaze converted a penalty and the 3-1 score remained till the final whistle.

In another game of the second round, Croatia crushed the Philippines 9-0.

Li Ming, head coach of China U19 national team, said it was a tough game. The competition with Uzbekistan was intense and the tempo of the game was very fast. The game can help to improve the team's performance.

After two rounds of competitions, Croatia and Uzbekistan got 4 points each to rank first and second respectively. China ranks third with 3 points from two games.

The last round of the tournament will start on February 25. Endit
