Dollar in mid-112 yen range in early trading in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar was changing hands in the mid-112 yen range in early deals in Tokyo Monday, largely in line with levels seen in New York late on Friday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 112.51-52 yen compared with 112.57-67 yen in New York and 112.95-96 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1122-1123 dollars and 125.15-19 yen against 1.1128-1138 dollars and 125.24-34 yen in New York and 125.58-62 yen and 1.1118-1119 dollars in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Endit
