Faustin-Archange Touadera, former prime minister of Central African Republic, has won the Feb. 14 presidential ecection, the electoral commission said Saturday.

Touadera won 62.71 percent of votes cast in the poll, provisional results released by the National Elections

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. police have arrested a suspected gunman involved in a multiple-deaths shootout in Michigan, local media reported Sunday.

DAMASCUS -- More than 50 Islamic State (IS) militants have been killed over the past 24 hours during intense battles against the Syrian government forces in the countryside of the northern province of Aleppo, a monitor group reported on Sunday.
