Siasun Robot, Schneider Electric to establish smart manufacturing plant

Xinhua, February 19, 2016 Adjust font size:

Chinese robot maker Siasun and Schneider Electric signed an agreement on Friday to build smart factories in China.

The two companies will provide solutions for emerging industries and Schneider Electric will use its global network to help Siasun expand overseas.

The two companies will set up a team to upgrade more than 100 enterprises in Liaoning Province, part of the old northeastern industrial base where Siasun is based, before expanding elsewhere in China.

Siasun has R&D platforms in robotics and knows the trend of China's manufacturing sectors, while Schneider Electric has management expertise and a global operation network, said Siasun president Qu Daokui.

Established in 2000, Siasun is China's leading robot maker. Its products have been exported to 13 countries and regions. Endi
