Update: Israeli killed, two Palestinian stabbers wounded near Ramallah

Two Palestinian teenagers were critically wounded on Thursday after they stabbed two Israelis; one of them was killed at an Israeli settlement east of the West Bank city of Ramallah, Palestinian medics said.
The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that two 14-year-old Palestinian teenagers called Ayham Sbeih and Omer Rimawi were critically wounded by Israeli security guards of the settlement near Ramallah.
The health ministry said in an emailed press statement that the two teenagers are in critical condition and they were taken to an Israeli hospital in Jerusalem for treatment.
Israel Public Radio reported that two Palestinian teenagers stabbed by knives two Israelis at Rami Levi Mall in the settlement of Sha'ar Benjamin east of Ramallah, and wounded them, one was critically wounded.
The radio, which quoted the Israeli police, said Israeli security guards in the mall opened fire at the teenagers and wounded them. Later on Thursday, one of the two wounded Israelis died of his sustained wounds.
Following the attack, Israeli army forces closed the main road that links between the city of Ramallah and several villages around, according to Palestinian security forces, which added that the closure of the road caused heavy traffic jam.
A wave of violent tension that broke out in the Palestinian territories between Israel and the Palestinians in early October last year had already left 178 Palestinians killed, according to the health ministry.
In the meantime, 31 Israelis were killed and more than 350 injured in a series of stabbing and shooting attacks in Israel, east Jerusalem and the West Bank. Endit
