Spanish stock market falls 0.83 pct

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.83 percent on Thursday to close at 8,295.40 points, down from the 8,364.90 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday, Caixabank shares led falls losing 5.56 percent, followed by Banco Popular, Banco Santander, Bankinter, Banco Sabadell and Bankia that lost 3.82 percent, 3.81 percent, 3.74 percent, 3.63 percent and 3.25 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Tecnicas Reunidas shares led rises climbing 4.76 percent, followed by Indra A, Gas Natural, IAG, Aena and Enagas that rose 3.31 percent, 3.23 percent, 3.14 percent, 2.05 percent and 1.56 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 148.10 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.69 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Wednesday. Endit
