Uganda electoral body extends polling

Uganda's Electoral Commission on Thursday extended voting in parts of the country that received voting materials late.

Badru Kiggundu, the Commission's Chairperson told reporters that areas in the capital Kampala and neighboring Wakiso district that received the materials late can vote until 7:00 p.m. (1600 GMT).

He said other areas which did not have a problem, voting will close at 4:00 p.m. (1300 GMT). Enditem
