Indian stocks close higher

Indian stocks fluctuated between gains and losses on Thursday in response to mixed global cues, but finally ended on a positive note.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 23,649.22, 267.35 points or 1.14 percent up from previous close of 23,381.87, with a turnover of 570.67 crore rupees (about 83.9 million U.S. dollars). Endit
