Spanish stock market falls 0.51 pct, closes at 8,137 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex 35 fell 0.51 percent on Tuesday to close at 8,137.60 points, down from the 8,179.20 points of Monday.

On Tuesday session, Tecnicas Reunidas led falls losing 22.98 percent, followed by Gamesa, Banco Popular, Mapfre, Repsol and ArcelorMittal that lost 3.43 percent, 3.20 percent, 2.71 percent, 2.21 percent and 2.05 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Abertis A shares led rises climbing 2.08 percent, followed by IAG, Indra A, Sacyr, DIA and Ferrovial that rose 1.91 percent, 1.75 percent, 1.47 percent, 1.43 percent and 0.97 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 148.60 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.75 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Monday. Endit
