Indian stocks close lower

Indian stocks saw a sharp selloff in the afternoon and closed lower on Tuesday.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 23,459.61, 94.51 points or 0.40 percent down from previous close of 23,554.12, with a turnover of 229.02 crore rupees (about 33.5 million U.S. dollars). Endit
