Loans to industrial, service sectors grow at slower pace

Medium and long-term loans to the industrial and service sectors grew at slower pace in 2015, the central bank said on Friday.

By the end of last year, outstanding medium and long-term loans to the industrial sector grew 5 percent year on year to 7.49 trillion yuan (1.15 trillion U.S. dollars), down 3 percentage points from the rate seen in 2014, the People's Bank of China (PBOC) said.

Outstanding medium and long-term loans to the service sector grew 14.4 percent to 23.4 trillion yuan, compared to a 15.7 percent-growth in 2014, the PBOC said. Endi
