Hertha Berlin's Salomon Kalou out

Xinhua, February 12, 2016 Adjust font size:

Salomon Kalou will be out of action for one game due to a thigh injury, Hertha Berlin confirmed on Thursday.

Berlin progressed into the German Cup semi-finals for the first time in 35 years. It was however a costly ticket into the last-four as a MRI scan revealed a muscle injury in Kalou's right thigh.

As a consequence the striker will be at least sidelined for the Bundesliga encounter on Saturday.

The Ivory Coast international joined Hertha Berlin in August 2014 to provide 16 goals in 46 appearances.

Berlin sit currently on the third place of the standings. They face 12th placed Stuttgart at the 21st round in Bundesliga. Endit
