The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) mostly closed lower on Tuesday.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 166.5 U.S. dollars, or 3.59 percent, to 4,471 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 26 U.S. dollars, or 1.72 percent, to 1,484 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost 22 U.S. dollars, or 1.22 percent, to 1,786 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 58 U.S. dollars, or 3.36 percent, to 1,669 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 150 U.S. dollars, or 1.81 percent, to 8,130 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased 50 U.S. dollars, or 0.32 percent, to 15,625 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
