Dollar in upper 116 yen zone in early trading in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 116 yen range in early deals in Tokyo, in line with levels seen in New York Friday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was changing hands at 116.91-93 yen compared with 116.77-87 yen in New York and 116.81-83 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1144-1144 dollars and 130.28-30 yen against 1.1155-1165 dollars and 130.32-42 yen in New York and 1.1195-1196 dollars and 130.77-81 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Endit
