The Israeli army forces pulled out Saturday night from the town of Qabatiya south of the West Bank city of Jenin after a closure of five days.
Brigadier General Ibrahim Ramadan, the Palestinian governor of Jenin, told Xinhua that the Israeli army ground forces pulled out from the town of Qabatiya Saturday night after closing the town for five days and causing big loss in the infrastructure.
"The town will get back to normal on Sunday morning," said Ramadan, adding that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas spoke with him on the phone to make sure that the city is fine after five days of an Israeli large-scale military operation. (Israel-Closure)

RAMADI, Iraq -- A total of 15 Iraqi security members were killed and 21 others wounded in suicide car bomb attacks by Islamic State (IS) militants and a booby-trapped house explosion in Iraq's western province of Anbar on Saturday, a provincial security source said.
An IS suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden vehicle into a military convoy on the main road leading to the military airbase of Ain al-Asad airbase, near the town of al-Baghdadi, some 190 km northwest of Baghdad, destroying three military vehicles, killing nine soldiers aboard and injuring 16 others, the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity. ANKARA -- Around 35,000 Syrian refugees have arrived at the Turkish border near the southern city of Kilis in the last 48 hours, with tens of thousands more to come, the local governor said on Saturday.
Suleyman Tapsiz, governor of Kilis province, told reporters at the Oncupinar border that the 35,000 Syrian refugees are being accommodated at camps on the Syrian side of the border. (Turkey-Syria-Refugee)

BOGOTA -- President of Colombia Juan Manuel Santos on Saturday said upon his request, the U.S. is sending experts to help his country fight and control the Zika virus from spreading.
An American team of doctors and scientists will soon arrive in Colombia to help fight the disease, said Santos.
In a meeting with health authorities held Saturday in Bogota, the capital of Colombia, Santos said that the number of people infected by Zika virus in Colombia had reached 25,646, including 3,177 pregnant women.
