Sinochem senior official under investigation

Cai Xiyou, General Manager of China's state-owned chemical firm Sinochem Group, is under investigation for "severe violation" of party rules, the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) said Saturday.

Cai was a former senior vice president of the Chinese oil giant Sinopec Corp among other previous positions. Endit
