8 killed, 15 injured in microbus accident in C. Nepal

Eight people have been killed and 15 others injured in a passenger microbus accident in Nuwakot District of central Nepal on Saturday afternoon, police officials said.

The passenger bus bound for Trishuli area of Nuwakot veered off the highway at Madaanpur and fell some 300 meters into a river, Nepal Police Inspector Jayaram Onta told local media.

Police have taken the injured to capital city Kathmandu for further treatment. Enditem
