British FTSE 100 decreases 0.86 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday decreased by 0.86 percent, or 50.70 points, to 5,848.06 points.

Share price of Anglo American increased by 10.68 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Antofagasta, Standard Chartered, Burberry Group, Tesco increased by 3.72 percent, 3.57 percent, 2.78 percent, 2.77 percent respectively.

Berkeley Group Holdings led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 4.99 percent, followed by Inmarsat (4.49 percent), Sky (3.56 percent), Royal Mail (3.14 percent) and Imperial Tobacco Group (2.75 percent). Endit
