Vietnamese plane experiences in-flight incident, one injured

Xinhua, February 5, 2016 Adjust font size:

A flight attendant was injured when an incident of cabin pressurization drop occurred on a plane of the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines on Friday.

Around 40 minutes after take-off, the Airbus A350 with 137 passengers aboard experienced a drop in cabin pressurization which deployed the oxygen masks, Vietnam's state-run news agency VNA reported.

The aircraft was flying from Vietnam's capital Hanoi to southern Ho Chi Minh City.

The pilot decided to return to Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport, and the plane landed safely.

According to a preliminary report, no passenger was hurt in the incident. However, a flight attendant was slightly injured and received first aid at the airport, said VNA.

On Jan. 3, a Vietnam Airlines flight from Paris to Hanoi was stranded for 48 hours due to problems in the aircraft's left wing. Endit
