Xinhua, February 3, 2016 Adjust font size:

Bulgarian customs officers at Danube Bridge near the northwestern town of Vidin have seized nine kg of heroin hidden in a car with two Bulgarians on board, officials said Wednesday.

The drug was found on Tuesday morning hidden in the car, after the nervous behavior of the driver prompted the officers to carry out a detailed inspection of the vehicle, the National Customs Agency (NCA) said in a press release.

The two Bulgarians were arrested on the scene, NCA said.

According to its annual report, NCA seized a total of 256 kg of heroin in 2015. Endit
