China, Malaysia pledge law enforcement cooperation

Senior security official Meng Jianzhu met Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on Wednesday, pledging to enhance law enforcement cooperation.

Meng, head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, called on the two sides to fight transnational crime together and protect the security and interests of their citizens.

Zahid said Malaysia is excited to work with China to maintain safety and stability in the region. Endi
