Namibia tastes first defeat at the hands of Bangladesh

Namibia's U19 Cricket juniors winning streak came to an end when they suffered their first defeat at the ICC U19 World Cup, against hosts Bangladesh on Tuesday.

Bangladesh won the game by eight wickets with 32 overs to spare and registered yet another victory to remain unbeaten in the group stages.

Namibia only managed a dismal 65 runs after 32.5 overs, while Bangladesh strolled past the target in easy fashion just after 16 overs.

Namibia's top batsman for the game were Nico Davin who had 19 runs, while Lohan Louwrens got 1 7runs and Fritz Coetzee managed to bag 2 Wickets.

Despite losing to the hosts, Namibia qualified for the quarter-final where they will now face an in-form India on Saturday. Endit
