Dollar at upper 120 yen level in early deals in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 120 yen zone on Tuesday in early deals, marginally lower than levels seen in New York overnight.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was changing hands at 120.89-90 yen compared with 120.95-121.05 yen in New York and 121.21-23 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.

The euro, meanwhile, was quoted at 1.0896-0896 dollars and 131.72-73 yen against 1.0883-0893 dollars and 131.69-79 yen in New York and 1.0845-0846 dollars and 131.46-50 yen in late trade in Tokyo Monday afternoon. Enditem
