Lebanon's military drone crashes on eastern borders

A reconnaissance plane of the Lebanese army crashed Monday over Wadi Ajram on the outskirts of Arsal due to a technical flaw.

"The army targeted with artillery the prefecture of the crash scene" the Army Guidance Directorate said in a statement without elaborating.

Fundamentalist militants are entrenched on the outskirts of Arsal and engaged in fierce clashes with the army on August 2014.

Since the army fortified its positions on the borders and is frequently targeting their movements. Endit
